Obituary of Arnold Crowder

CROWDER, Arnold ( Retired Army Captain - Veteran of WWII and Korea) Peacefully in hospital at Ottawa on Wednesday morning, January 24th, 2007 while surrounded by his family. Arnold Leonard Crowder of Arnprior at the age of 92 years. Beloved husband and best friend for almost 64 years of Rita (nee Collier). Cherished father of Graham (Sherrill) of Orleans, Donna Pickett (late Peter) of Arnprior, Judy Hook (Skip) and Wendy Clouthier (Steve) both of Fitzroy Harbour and Greg (Connie) of Arnprior. Dearly loved �Grandpa� of 11 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter. Dear brother of Norman Crowder (Ruth) of Ottawa. Predeceased by 2 brothers: Dalton and Allen and 3 sisters: Mae Crowder, Phyllis Kenny and Florence Boughner. Will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. only. Liturgy of the Word will be celebrated privately in the Pilon Family Chapel the following day. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery. In remembrance, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by Arnold�s family.
