John was a remarkable person who was a fount of interesting facts and whose laughter brightened the day. I always enjoyed seeing his latest pen acquisitions and the story behind them. John, you will be missed and fondly remembered.

Always enjoyed John's presence at the Shakespeare group meetings at the library.

Will miss John as a gentle and unassuming man, with his wild hair and laughter. He was a rather intelligent person and we would often argue about and discuss all kinds of topics; some of which were held in French. The mosquitoes will miss their evening meal as John would come out to "garden" late in the day when the mosquitoes would be out. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

John will be remembered fondly for is quiet, yet hurried disposition and his great booming laugh. Rest in peace, John.
