Obituary of Gilles Martin

With great sadness the family announces that Gilles passed away at the Renfrew Victoria Hospital on Tuesday, July 20, 2021. He leaves behind his sister Dianne, family and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, Fleurette Schnubb and step-father Gerald Schnubb of Ottawa. Gilles was a great storyteller who had an amazing sense of humour. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed. He loved his family and friends. He leaves a legacy of kindness, joyfulness, humour, storytelling and making people laugh. We carry him in our hearts, and hope to continue to pass on his gifts of love and laughter. We celebrate his life by doing what he always did: Remind those close to you that you love them and tell them a joke or two. Gilles’ final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior.
