Obituary of Eleanor Ryan

RYAN, Eleanor Peacefully in hospital at Ottawa with her loving family by her side on Friday evening, February 16th, 2007. Eleanor Ann Ryan (Nee Miller) of Pakenham in her 71st year. Dearly loved wife and soulmate for over 50 years of Gervais Ryan. Devoted mother of Kevin (Karen) and Larry (Angela), both of Arnprior, Dan (Cheryl) and Chris (Darlene), both of Pakenham. Predeceased by a son, Terry Ryan in 2005. Beloved grandmother of Melissa, Marcus, Mitchell, Andrew, Brett, Haley, Jessica and Rachel. Daughter of the late William Miller and the late Mary Farrell. Dear sister of Bud Miller of Arnprior, John Miller (Theresa) of Eganville, Linda Chabot (Bernie) of Ompah and Diane Vezina (Neil) of Hamilton. Special sister-in-law of Bill Ryan (Doreen), Rita Ryan, Adele Ryan, Pat Ryan (Madelaine), Emmett Ryan (Verna), Rose Anderson (John), Eleanor Lecours (Peter), the late Mary Stanton (late Richie) and the late Alice McGrath. Eleanor will be sadly missed by her half sisters and brothers; her nieces and nephews and her many friends and neighbors in Pakenham and Arnprior. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. only. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Peter Celestine Church, Pakenham on Wednesday morning, February 21st at 11 o�clock. Cremation will follow with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring. In remembrance, donations to the St. Peter Celestine Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated by the family.
