Maurice and family, please accept my sincerest sympathies on the passing of your Dad....I have just heard of his death while here in Portugal for a month from friends back in the Valley. I otherwise would surely be with you at this time in my longtime friendship with Maurice and my many fond memories and gratitude as Priest and Pastor of St. John Chrysostom. Be assured of my offering of my next Mass for the eternal repose of his soul and in support of you all at this very special time. Murray Tardiff

Maurice and Claudia, Ingrid and Bill, To you we send our loving condolences, knowing that this is a time of tearful separation yet at the same time a celebration of a good life shared over 95 years. Because of your care of Mort over these many final years, you will have come to share in a special time of his life and developed an intimacy rare between children and parents. Are we ever ready to be orphans? We share with you this journey and at this time assure you of our love and affection, particularly in the following days of farewell and tribute.

Having grown up on 22 Church Street, I have known Mr. Sullivan my entire life. He (and his late wife) have always been open to me (to offer their advice) and good wishes) for a long as I can remember. Mrs. Sullivan always had the best Halloween treats in the neighbourhood, and Mr. Sullivan would always take time to chat with me about his boat. I often chatted with him about (what I called) the "prettiest boat on the water". I was fortunate to be at the Town park last Canada Day and took a great photo of the 'ol Sheppard as she passed by the mouth of the Madawaska. I presented this photo to Mr. Sullivan last summer, and received a call of thanks and appreciation from him that very afternoon. My friendly nieghbour and our "Commadore" will be sorrily missed. My thoughts and prayers are with the entire family at this time. Sincerely Kevin F. Hayes

Mr Mort Sullivan was an icon in the construction industry. He had a great passion for automobiles. The stories about his business experiences and the many road trips that encompassed them were always entertaining. He recalled them like it was yesterday. Speaking with him was like going back in history and experiencing it first hand. He always trusted me and valued my opinion. Our frequent discussions will be missed.

Sullivan family: We would like to express our sincere sympathy on the passing of Mort. He was a very fine gentleman and he always had time for me when I went into the office. We also shared the same passion for the love of automobiles and had many thought provoking conversations regarding the business of the world around us. He will be greatly missed. Gerry & Cathy O'Neil
