Dear Janet, Linda and families. John and I and our families wish to send your our condolences. It hardly seems like twenty since Jack died. In fact, tt doesn't seem so long ago that your dad and mom brought both of you to visit our own grandmother on George street, and memories of many family dinners at the other "Hayden house" on George street are still vivid. I'm sure the loss of your mother is profound for both of you and your families. But five grandchildren -- how wonderful. I'm sure they were a great joy to your mother.
