Obituary of Barbara Coburn

Peacefully at home in Arnprior with her sister, Norma Foucault (Morris) of North Bay and brothers, Jim (Nita) and Richard, both of Arnprior at her side on Wednesday evening, July 20, 2022. Barbara Coburn formerly of Pembroke passed away in her 81st year. Predeceased by her father, Woodrow in 1982; mother, Mabel (nee Jones) in 2015 and brother William (Bronwen) in 2000. Barbara was a graduate of the Class of 1962 of the Lorrain School of Nursing, Pembroke. She was a practicing nurse anaesthetist in the USA. A private family graveside service and interment will take place at St. Columba's Cemetery, Pembroke. The family wishes to thank their friends and the various area health care services which include: Renfrew County Home Care, Bayshore Nursing, Medigas and Arnprior Senior Support who provided Barbara with home oxygen, dressing care, personal care, senior van transportation and equipment rentals. Barbara was able to be cared for in her own home until the end. To dear friends of Barbara, Phyllis and Rhonda, thank you for your help, friendship and amazing support. Also, special thanks to Dr. Cathy Greenough and her staff, Jody and Jordon for the numerous calls and visits. Barbara's final care has been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd. 50 john Street North, Arnprior.
