Obituary of Patrick Poole

POOLE, Patrick "Mack" (WWII Veteran) Peacefully in The Grove Nursing Home at Arnprior on Sunday morning, May 13th, 2007. Patrick "Mack" Poole of Arnprior at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband and best friend for 66 years of Marion (Nee Slater). Predeceased by his only son Philip "Phil" (Sept. 23, 1996). Dearly loved father-in-law of Sheilagh Poole of Arnprior. Cherished grandfather of Kim Edge (William) of Arnprior and Shauna Lafrance (David) of Ottawa and great-grandfather of Brendan, Kaitlynn and Nicholas Edge and Jacob and Andrew Lafrance. Dear brother of Ray Poole (Audrey) of Arnprior. Predeceased by a brother, Basil. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Wednesday morning from 10 to 11:30 only. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Wednesday, May 16th at 12 noon. Cremation will follow. In remembrance donations to the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by Mack's family.
