Obituary of Gilbert Potter

POTTER, Gilbert "Gib" (Retired Dairy Farmer) Peacefully in hospital at Arnprior on Tuesday morning, May 15th, 2007. Gilbert Stanley "Gib" Potter of Arnprior at the age of 83 years. Beloved husband of Marguerite "Peg" (Nee Tourangeau) and by a former marriage of the late Isabel Brunette. Dear father of Michael Potter of Arnprior, Donnalee Hinds (Steve) of Grimsby, Colleen Potter of St. Albert, Alberta and Sharon Frolander of Ottawa. Cherished "Grandpa" of Gregory and Bryan Potter, Philip, David and Ian Hinds, Matthew Frolander and Sean Potter. Dear brother of Ken Potter (Julia) of Renfrew and Rena Johnson (late Eldon) of Carleton Place. Predeceased by a brother Garnet as well as a grandson Jonathon Hinds. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Thursday afternoon, May 17th from 12 noon until 1:45 p.m. and where a funeral service will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel at 2 o'clock. Rev. Linda Hill of Emmanuel Anglican Church officiating. Interment will follow at the Albert Street Cemetery. In memory of Gib, a donation made to the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by his family.
