Obituary of George Stavenow

STAVENOW, George Charles Passed away at Bonnechere Manor in Renfrew, Ontario, on Friday, May 18, 2007, in his 93rd year. Dear father to Randall Stavenow and his wife Doreen, Burlington; and Ruth Hawes. He will be remembered by grandchildren Gregory (Kim) and Pamela and by great-grandsons Grayson and Rowan Stavenow, all of Burlington. Brother of Elsie Frieday, Arnprior. Predeceased by his wife Ada (nee Nienkirchen) in 1996 and son-in-law Victor Hawes in 2006; and by sisters Hester Bartell, Lillian Judge, Lena Salisbury, and Arby Sutherland; and brothers Donald, Frank, Helmert, Henry and Leonard Stavenow. Relatives and friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Wednesday morning, May 23rd from 10:30 a.m. until the time of George's funeral service in the Pilon Family Chapel at 12 o'clock noon. Interment will follow at the Albert Street Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Canadian Bible Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
