Obituary of Joan Schnob

SCHNOB, Joan Peacefully in hospital at Arnprior following a valiant and courageous struggle with cancer on Thursday morning, May 24th, 2007. Joan Frances Schnob of Arnprior at the age of 71 years. Daughter of the late James Wall and the late Celestine Lascelle. Beloved wife of the late Rene Schnob. Dearly loved mother of Michael (Cathy) of Arnprior, Stephen (Monica) of Raddison, Sask. and Kerri Schnob of Ottawa. Dear sister of Irene Doucette (late Omer) of Arnprior and Sharon Larkin (John) of Sidney, B.C. Predeceased by a brother Jimmy Wall and a sister Gail Kidd. Cherished and proud "Nanny" and "Grandma" of Lindsay, Justin, Ryan, Keith and Michelle. Joan will be fondly remembered by the Schnob family: Frank, Rollie (Colleen) and Helene, all of Arnprior and Jeannette Patrick (Michael) of Calgary. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 8:45 a.m. Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Saturday morning, May 26th at 10 o'clock. Interment will follow at the Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior. In memory of Joan, a donation made to the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital "Palliative Care" would be appreciated by the family.
