Obituary of Mary Piasetzki

PIASETZKI, Mary Peacefully at The Bonnechere Manor, Renfrew on Monday morning, May 28th, 2007. Mary Agnes Piasetzki of Arnprior at the age of 83 years. Dear daughter of the late Harvey Laplante and the late Bertha Hanniman. Beloved and cherished wife of John for almost 63 years. Dearly loved mother of Bill Piasetzki (Colleen) and Cindy Shier (Chris), both of Arnprior, Joanne Gallagher (Jim) of Almonte and Dawn Shier (Rick) of Braeside. Predeceased by a daughter Sharon Perfitt (June 23rd, 2002). Dear mother-in-law of Al Perfitt of Arnprior. Dear sister of Anne Leeder (late Bill) of Ottawa. Predeceased by her brother Michael Laplante (1942 Almonte Train Wreck). Proud "Grandma" of Rodney and Bill Piasetzki Jr., Katelyn Shier, Christine and Larissa Shier, Kerri-Ann Gibeault (Barry) and "Nanny" of Sydney and Jordyn Gibeault. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 8 a.m. Thursday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Thursday morning, May 31st at 9:30 a.m. Interment will follow at the Malloch Road Cemetery. In memory of Mary, a donation made to The Bonnechere Manor would be appreciated by her family.
