I'm very sorry for your loss. Jacquie was a very special person. I enjoyed every visit I made with her even the times she was stubborn. She was very courageous and even in the times that were tough she would always put a smile on your face. I will miss our talks and I will miss your family. Forever in my prayers Linda

Elaine, Ed and Joanne We had heard from Jennifer when we saw her perform in London last year that Jacquie was ill, but we had heard nothing since. Words cannot express our sorrow to hear the news today from Alicia. The memories of those fun times at Feis' here, there and everywhere are wonderful to have. Jacquie will have been a well known and popular teacher, and Irish dancing has lost a young and enthusiastic heart. Please know we are thinking of you all and our hearts go out to her husband as well. Hugs to you all from us all. Gillian, Allan, Aynsley & Graham Weatherall.

To Mark, Mr. & Mrs. Best and family, It was a privilege to know Jacquie through her teaching classes in our church basement in Renfrew, and especially as she taught my daughter, Kaileyann, who considered her a friend. I remember the time Jacquie's car broke down on highway 17 during a snowstorm and she soldiered all the way back to the parsonage to call her family. I hope she soldiered on in the last days. I know she will be greatly missed by family and friends, but also students and their families, because she built a bond with each one. I am sorrowing with you at this time, also.

To Mark, the Best Family, and the Heis family. Please accept our deepest sympathies. There are no words to explain how saddened we are. Jacquie was such a remarkable person and Kevin & I were lucky and proud to call her our friend. As a parent, I am so thankful for her presence in my daughter's life. She was a positive influence, a wonderful role model, and a caring friend to all of "her girls". She has touched so many lives and has taught us all how to live with such love and grace. We will miss her so much.

Mark, Elaine and Eddy: We were so very sorry to hear about Jacquie and want to express our sympathy for your incredible loss. Jacquie was a lovely young girl when we first met her and she grew up to become an exceptional woman. Although my wife and I knew Jacquie only a short while, we cherish the time that we were able to spend with both her and my long-time friend Mark. Our world and lives are better for having known her. Jacquie was a very unique and genuinely exceptional person of great character. I say with all sincerity, on behalf of my wife, Kate, and myself, that it is an honour and a privilege to have known her, however brief our time may have been. We would like to express our sincerest condolences to the entire family and most of all to our good, kind and gentle friend, Mark Heis.

I've been out of the country and only just got the news... It's so devastating that this could happen to someone so wonderful. I just early teens years, Jacquie was like the older sister I never had, and I couldn't have asked for a better role model. She'll always have a special place in my heart and my thoughts are with all who will miss her.
