Mrs. Forgiel My condolences to your entire family in your loss. I went to school with Anne at St. Josephs', but unfortunately our paths did not cross over the years. It makes one realize how quickly time passes. From what I can see in the tributes, she was very "Special" to many and my recollection as a kid of her was a very beautiful, warm and kind person. That memory will stay with me. Again, my deepest sympathies. Christine Rychtar

I was both shocked and saddened to hear of your loss. Annie was always there with a hearty laugh when I needed it and truly a good friend. She will be missed.

My most heartfelt condolences to you, Rose, and to your family. I have the best memories of working with Anne in the kitchen at the Arnprior Hospital. I always looked forward to the shifts I worked with Anne. We had such fun! Sweating it out in the heat of that kitchen, pushing around the carriers, setting trays, calling out the menus, washing pots, making coffee, cooking, eating and enduring the steamy sauna bath of the dishwashing room with the radio cranked up loud! I smile as I remember Anne dancing like Axel Rose from "Guns and Roses" and blasting The Doors. That was the best part of working late shift, we could blast the tunes and be rowdy and no one was around to tell us to keep it down. In spite of the heat and everything, my job at the hospital was my favourite. The friendships and laughter made it a place I wanted to be and the work went well because of Anne and her dry sense of humour that would make me laugh all the time. Rose, you were such an excellent cook and I always enjoyed working with you too. Whenever I cook rolled oats now, I am taken back to my days in the kitchen with all of you, serving up your delicious rolled oats cereal from the big pots. I will remember Anne, and all of you, in my prayers. With much love, Karen Webb.

My Dearest Irene, Tom, Colleen, Jen, Czes, and Granny, It was just last week when the shoe was on the other foot and you were reaching out to our family. I am so sorry for your loss, but possibly Anne has finally achieved peace. She was such a good lady that her passing will be felt by many. I will always treasure that evening a couple of years ago when we were all together, you made us feel so welcome and Anne's being there made it more special. Your pain is intense now, but it will ease with time. If you need an ear to listen, a shoulder to cry on, or a heart that understands please call, maybe we can help one another. Love now and always, Blaine and Debbie Carr

Dear, Irene & Family. I was very sorry to hear of the untimely passing of your sister. It's saddening to me that you have to face this loss. I want you to know that I pass along my most sincere condolences to all of your family. The fact that I feel as if Anne’s passing comes too soon. Please pass my condolences on to the remainder of your family. I hope that you can find time to reflect on everything you still do have, after things settle down; it would be good to see you again. I do tend to look forward to seeing you in passing downtown. If there is anything I can do for you, please don't hesitate to let me know. I wish you all, all the very best and my heart goes out to you though if it provides any solace the thought that occurred to me recently due to my own loss is that death is no more than a turning of ones self over from time - to eternity. "The life of the dead is placed in the memory of the living." - Marcus Tullius Cicero

I worked with Annie at the Arnprior Hospital for the last 20 years and she was one of the kindest, gentlest people I have ever known. She was so generous and always had time for a smile and a little chit chat! She never failed to ask me about my daughter and gave her some lovely gifts over the years. Please accept my most sincere condolences, she will be truly missed by all who had the privilege to know her.

Sending my condolences to the family. Anne worked with my sister Doreen. I first really got to know Anne when she joined us for our first trip to New York City. We all had such a good time together that we went a second time and once again we enjoyed our weekend together. It was nice to have Anne as part of the group she had such a great smile and was fun to be with and she loved to sit and chat. Even though I did not see much of her - she was a great travel companion and she will be missed.

Dear Forgiel Family Please accept our condolences on your sudden loss. I was always so glad to run into Annie & that wonderful smile. She always had little time to catch up & have a chat. Hoping your memories of happy times will help you through the difficult days ahead.
