Obituary of Ian Scrimshaw

 

With sadness the family announces that Ian passed away at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Wednesday afternoon, April 17,2024. He was 77.

 

Beloved husband of Phyllis (nee Simms).

Loved Dad of Matthew Scrimshaw and stepdad of David Simms (Ana).

 

Special “Poppy” of Jessica.

 

Dear brother of Andy and Robert. Predeceased by one sister.

 

Ian was predeceased by his stepson Craig (February, 2023).

 

Son of the late Anthony and Olga (nee Buchanan-Sloan) Scrimshaw.

 

 

Ian’s private arrangements have been entrusted to the Pilon Family Funeral Home.
