Obituary of Ida St. Denis

ST. DENIS, Ida (nee Emery) March 2, 1924 - February 8, 2012 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Ida St. Denis at the Ottawa Heart Institute on Wednesday morning, February 8th, 2012 in her 88th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Philippe St. Denis (1982); her parents Michel and Rose Emery and her brother, Alfred Emery. She leaves behind her sister Georgette Emery (late Paul Bertrand). Ida will be sadly missed by her 5 children Andrée Lapierre (Norbert), Jacques (Jane), Robert (Diann), Lisette MacLeod (Phil) and Claude (Sandy). She will be lovingly remembered by her 9 grandchildren: Christine (Victor), Michelle (Gord), Megan (Eric), Amy (Billy), Donovan (Kerri), Derrick (Kati), Travis, Tiana (Patrick), Carly (Jason) and her 16 great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Wednesday morning, February 15th at 11o'clock with interment to follow in the Malloch Road Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy a memorial contribution to the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
