Obituary of Harry DeJoode

DEJOODE, Harry Henry (Retired - Boeing, Arnprior) 1942-2012 It is with deep sadness that the family of Harry announces his passing on Thursday, February 23rd, 2012 at the Arnprior Hospital following a brief struggle with lung cancer. He is survived by his loving wife, Lorraine (nee Denault); his sons: Stephen, Neil and Michael, all of Arnprior; Mark (Kathryn) and Rob (Brenda), both of British Columbia and his grandson, Kyle. Fondly remembered by the Denault family as well as his many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents: Carel and Rykje DeJoode; his sister Sylvia VanEsch and brothers: Henk and Jacob. Heartfelt thanks to Dr. Trang and the nurses at A&DMH and Paramed for the excellent care given to Harry these past few months. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Sunday afternoon from 1 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. and where a Funeral Service will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Sunday at 4 o'clock. In memory of Harry, a donation to the Palliative Care Unit of the Arnprior Hospital would be appreciated by his family.
