Obituary of June Remus

REMUS, June (nee Down) Peacefully at the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital with family by her side on Wednesday morning, April 4th, 2012. June Isabella Remus of Arnprior at the age of 88 years. Beloved wife since 1951 of Robert. Dearly loved mother of Carl Remus (and his wife Bev) of R.R.#1, Renfrew and Brenda Binnie (and her husband Scott) of Richmond Hill. Cherished and proud "Granny" of Kim Sheppard (Bill), Bonnie Bedard (Neil), Rhys and Sean Binnie and "Great-Granny" of Joel Sheppard and Abbie Bedard. June was predeceased by her 3 sisters, Margaret, Muriel and Edna. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. and again on Saturday from 12:45 to 1:30 p.m. A Service to celebrate the life of June Remus will be conducted in The First Baptist Church, 279 Alicia Street, Arnprior on Saturday afternoon, April 7th at 2 o'clock. A reception will follow. Interment will take place at the Flat Rapids Cemetery after the reception. In memory of June, a donation to the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital "Partners in Caring" Foundation or the First Baptist Church would be appreciated by her family.
