Obituary of Merlin Griffin

GRIFFIN, Merle Patrick (Owner Arnprior Floor Covering) Peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital after a brief struggle with cancer on Tuesday afternoon, April 17th, 2012. Merlin "Merle" Patrick Griffin of Arnprior at the age of 65 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Linda for 38 years. Devoted father of Deena (Aaron) of Masham, Quebec and Corey (Krystle) of Kanata. Cherished "Grandpa" of Burke and Paxton.Loved son of Eileen and the late Clifford Griffin. Will be sadly missed by Uncle John and Audrey Philpott as well as extended family and many friends.Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 until 10:45 a.m. A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Saturday morning, April 21st at 11 o'clock. Martin Carnahan officiating. The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Kevin (Christine) Ledgerwood. Your helping hands, loving hearts and countless efforts have been truly appreciated. Special thanks to the Arnprior Hospital, Dr. Earl Gordon and all the care givers.
