Marcel will be missed,I would always run into him at the strangest places,We found out too late for the service.Dad was very dissapointed and sad,Our deepest sympathies from all the Paquette's in VKH,So long to a great fishing partner,thanks for the memories,god bless and i hope the fish will still be biting

We are very sorry for your loss. We are in shock since the phone call we received to annonce the loss of Marcel. Both of us wish to extend our deepest condoleances to you Jacky and your family,Marcel was a very good friend and fishing partner,He will be miss by everyone of us at Rapide-2. Your are in our thoughts and Prayers.I just did'nt make it on time to be able to be there with you all today, I will be there for the mass in June. André,Monique and all is friends at the camping.

The Bible which is the basis of our Christian belief defines a true friend as follows: a person who sticks closer than a brother, is constant in his loyalty and friendliness, comes to the aid of his companion in distress and gives counsel to him in faithfulness (Prov 18:24; Prov 17:17; Prov 27:6-9). If I apply this defintion to Marcel he was my true friend. He drove me from the hospital following my cancer operation and accompanied me for follow-up visits. He was my co-pilot on daily excursions where we would have lunch together and speak of things that were on our minds. Marcel was a good neighbour, snow blowing driveways when you were away or before you got up in the morning, leaving a magazine in your mailbox, or some of his home grown tomatoes. He was there for you. The Bible again instructs us in Lev 19:18 to love thy neighbour as thyself. We are also reminded of this rule throughout the New Testament. Marcel in this regard loved his neighbours as himself. When visiting our home he showed a fondness for our pets. He always said that he got his 'pet fix' from visiting those who had pets. Marcel, I will miss you my friend.
