Words cannot express how empty I feel for you MUM. I loved you before and I will love you forever. You taught me to sew, knit, cook and bake. You taught me about birds and rocks. We all had so much fun when we went to the Outlet beach to swim and the Cove beach to fish. You were the only person I knew to put a worm on a safety hook and catch a pike. Ha! Ha! You were the strenth behind Dad. You were the one left behind when Dad went away. Remember the time he was posted to Fort Churchill??????Then down to El Paso and then back to Fort Churchill, all was secret. The only thing we knew was that he was away, and he wrote to us all the time. You were always there. You blew the whisel the black that had a brown leather strap so Rosalie and I would come in. We loved Picton, we always went to adventures with you. There was never a dull moment. You made up the most beautifull holloween costumes----Marie Antoinette---with the fake long hair, and we were the best and Rosalie and I lost. We were both so upset, because the kid who won, had a store bought. Mum loved to go to Auction Sales, and poor Dad didn't know what you were going to bring home, in fact one day you got a piano and an organ. Dad just laughed and asked you where you were going to put it. Mum, you loved to move the furniture around, and Dad never knew when or where it would end up. I remember when we lived in Camp Picton and you went to a party at the Sargent's Mess and you had the most beautifull red to the knees dress and little cap jacket, with red high heels. You were a knock out. You sure passed the looks on to the three of us----I must say, you do have three goodlooking daughters. You use to love going out with Rosale when she was in her teens, because you said that everybody would look at her, guys would walk into walls, and Rosalie didn't have a clue that this was going on. You also said that is what made her such a classy lady, because she wasn't a snob and she didn't have airs about herself. She was always a beauty and still is. Do you remember going to Mexico and getting caught with Rosalie and held at the Police Station, because they thought you had kidnapped her. Dad was at Fort Bliss and had to come and rescuse you. You and Dad use to go to Mexico with your friends and you use to have a blast. I loved El Paso and so did you guys. Remember Gloria across the street. You guys always had fun with them. That is where I found out that there was no Santa. I was 13, and I still believed. I finally had a best friend, Jan Crosswright, remember, here father was in the American Air Force and I went to her place overnight for a sleep-over. Called you guys in the middle of the night and Dad walked over and got me. Mum, you were the best, you looked after Lindsay while her sister Rosalie was in the hospital and you taught Lindsay so many things. She is a Leftie like you and she is a fantastic CHEF, that comes right from the Pilon side. She also has your piercing eyes and beautifull skin----she also has a heart of gold and is so very kind to people. That is a trait that you have and one that is carried on by all three of your girls. You always gave us everything and also thought of yourself last. I hated Shilo as much as you MUM, in fact, that was the only time I can ever remember you complaining about a place. You never once said, gosh another move. You just cleaned the PMQ up and away we were off. Remember heading down to El Paso by train-----and back. Rosalie was the star in here cowboy gear and sitting on all the passengers knees. Then when we went down with Robitailes and Ted MacTaggart what a blast. Mum, you sat in the back with Carole and I sat in the front seat. I loved it, because I was the big girl now. I had such a crush on Ted---what a hunk. Rosalie and I would go in the rest rooms and take the cups and when we went in the motel washrooms, we would take the cups and the soap. Dad tried to explain that we shouldn't but that was an adventure. Mum I love you for everything you have done for me for everything that you made me do and see----I have always loved you and always will

Laurel, Rosalie and Carol: I have wonderful memories of your Mom and Dad, all the times I spent at your home during my childhood. I especially remember the time and details your Mother would take to prepare the meals, always paying attentin to nutrition. I also remember her Faith and dedication to God. She possessed great strenght and wisdom and was very kind and gentle and reminded me a great deal of Grandma Pilon. You can be proud to say Aunt Olly was your Mom and Uncle Bob your Dad. Love Your Cousin Yvonne

Dearest cousins, I have such fond memories of Aunt Ollie when we were all growing up. She was kind, thoughtful and had a wonderful sense of humor. Aunt Ollie and mom saw the Pilons threw many happy times as well as sad, but may we only remember the happy times we all shared when looking back. Know that she is now in Uncle Bob's arms in God's presence forever.... Deepest sympathy, Louise,

So many stories about how you made a difference or made someones day. So many hearts that are feeling sadness today. Laurel, Rosalie and Carole, my heartfelt sympathy on the passing of your mother. I will always have great memories of Aunt Olly growing up. I remember when I was a teen, she would grab my hair and tell me to get it cut because she said, I looked like a girl. After 35 years working with the military, with short hair, I am now retired. As my hair is getting longer, I can still hear her say... Thanks for the memories. Dan
