Obituary of Richard Swaine

Swaine, Richard Retired Northern Casket Ltd & Union Carbide Suddenly at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, Ottawa following a brief illness on Thursday, July 5 2012 with his son and daughter by his side, Richard Swaine of Arnprior, formerly of Lindsay at the age of 70 years. Beloved son of the late Fred & Rita Swaine (nee Burns). Cherished husband for over 43 years of the late Wilma Swaine (nee Nicholls). Dearly loved and devoted father of Lisa Blackburn (Chris) of Arnprior and Todd Swaine of Toronto. Very proud "Grampa" of Brandon, Keaton and Hudson Blackburn ; Tyler Swaine. Survived by his sister and brother in law Archie and Mary Andrews (nee Nicholls), Doug Nicholls (Marlene), Alberta Smith, his favorite Aunt Myrtle James of Orillia and of course many more family and friends. Brother of Beth Porter ( Pat), Nick Swaine (Julie), step-son of Marg Swaine. Family and friends are invited to share their celebration of Richard during an informal gathering at the Lindsay Memorial Park, Lindsay Street, Lindsay Ontario on Sunday, July 22nd from 2:00 - 5:00, brief service to start at 3:00 and luncheon to follow.
