So sorry we just heard about Paul's passing. John and I shared an apartment with Paul and Wes in 1985 in Lindsay while we all went to Fleming College. Paul played hard and had a gentle heart. John and I were reminiscing about college days, living at 11 Ridout St., hunting and just caring on. Paul was always in the thick of it and he had this great mischievous smile. Paul - we'll raise a glass to you tonight. Our thoughts are with your wife, family and friends.

It was just a few weeks ago that we spent the day with Paul celebrtating Mel's birthday. Paul took us out for a tour of the property, something he would do whenever we were visiting. When we did get together we would sit around the kitchen table and eat, listen to Pauls many jokes and enjoy his infectious laugh. His smile would light up the room. Paul loved his life, the great outdoors, his lovely wife Mel, his daughter Madison and of course their canine children. It is so hard to process that we will never see Paul or hear his voice again. Our hearts go out to Mel and Madison.

Dear Murphy family: After talking with Paul's mom and dad, they will know how shock and sad we were to hear of the passing of this wonderful young man. We have known Paul as a kid. He was always so friendly and appreciative of what he learned from his parents. According to an acquaintance who worked with him at Hydro One, He was dearly loved there and appreciated.
