I have many memories of Uncle Eldon - who was always ready to welcome and to help anyone. But one memory shows the trust I had in him when, on a visit, my husband and three young sons asked him for directions to a special park. I cannot remember the name but do remember his saying - "go down that road and turn right at the 'big tree' - you can't miss it!". For this city gal I could not imagine what the 'big tree' would be like. But he never led us astray and off we went. We found exactly what he was referring to and it has always been a sign to me of 'trusting in the unseen'. As we trusted in his directions we also were reminded to trust in the unseen directions of God. My boys also remember the house with two sets of stairs and the old Model T Ford that they sat in. He was a man that we were proud to call 'Uncle'. We send our love and prayers to the family. Barb & Tom, John, Mark and Kevin.
