The day started out like many before, being private investigaters we were working on a case and heading for the high lands of calabogie .
however that day the Cheif was coming for the ride along to keep an eye on us and to keep us out of any situation that we may have gotten in to
The morning was unevent full the time was 11;30 other than a few regular stops for refreshments it was decided to head for some food .
Thats when Dave seen a suspisious water hole and thought we should get a closer look .The mud and water was a little deeper than we thought and his black ford wouldnt go anyfurther .
As investigaters we got out and took stock of our supplies and started to weigh our options ,thats when our conscience took over digging trenchs to drain the water and making an unforgetable remark thanks cheif for suming that up Dave and i laughed.
As the day wore on stoppers by would check in on us and made sure we didnt run out of supplies .
And in the end it took two towtrucks and 10 hours to get us out we had lots of laughs made some memories its a good thing the cheif came along to keep us out of trouble thanks again for the wings and being our conscience.

I am very saddened to hear that Dave has passed away. My sincere condolences to his family in this difficult time. While it has been a number of years since we last spoke I have always considered him a friend. I will always remember our epic bicycle / fishing adventures as kids. Rest in peace Dave.

dave you were great friend our whole lives even though i havent seen you for a while i always wondered wn i would see you again and when you would just drop in out of the blue your in heaven now and we will cross paths again but we will have to have wine for a drink not beer i will miss you very much we have been through alot and had alot of fun my prayers are out for you and your family you were very fun to be with and i will never forget about you and your dad im very sorry dave sr
