Obituary of Ray Poole

POOLE, Ray Joseph (Veteran WWII) Peacefully in hospital at Arnprior surrounded by his loving family on the morning of the First Sunday of Advent, December 2nd, 2007. Ray Joseph Poole of Arnprior at the age of 87 years. Beloved husband and best friend of Audrey (Nee O'Neill). Cherished "Dad" of Stephen Poole of Nepean. Predeceased by his first wife, Marion (nee Gagne) and his 2 brothers Basil and Mack (Marion Poole of the Arnprior Villa). Ray will be dearly missed by his extended family. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Tuesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Tuesday morning, December 4th at 11 o'clock. Cremation will follow with interment to take place at the Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior. In remembrance, donations to the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital "Partners in Caring" Foundation would be appreciated by Ray's family. Members of the Knights of Columbus, Council 2082, Arnprior will assemble at the funeral home for prayers on Monday evening at 6:30. Members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 174, Arnprior will assemble at the funeral home for a tribute service on Monday evening at 6:45. Condolences/Tributes/Donations
