Obituary of Mariel MacLean

MacLEAN, Mariel "Buddy" Peacefully at home on Monday evening, November 19th, 2012. Mariel Mary MacLean of Arnprior at the age of 85 years. Dear daughter of the late Peter Bethune and the late Albertine Lajeunesse. Beloved wife of the late Norman Alexander MacLean (1968). Dearly loved mother of Laird (Laurel) and Lindsay ( Brenda) both of Arnprior. Dear sister and best friend of Joy Mann (late Willi). Cherished "Nanny" of 5 grandchildren: Angela MacLean (John Allison); Jennifer MacLean (Kevin McNulty); Rachel MacLean; Rosalie Sutherland and Lindsay Wright (Jeffrey) and 9 great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and again on Saturday from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. A Service to honour the life of Mariel will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel on Saturday morning, November 24th at 11 o'clock. Interment Albert Street Cemetery, Arnprior. In memory of Mariel, a donation to the Arnprior Food Bank would be appreciated by her family.
