Linda, Rhonda, Brenda and family today we hold sad and heavy hearts...What will carry you all through this difficult time are the memories of Bob. We both have wonderful memories of a man with a sense of humor like no one Donald or I ever knew...a kind heart and quick wit... an instant smile comes to our faces. When Donald thinks of Bob - he remembers the garage on Daniel Street, I remember Bob James & Daughters - I feel as does Donald we are richer people for having met such a wonderful man. Dear Linda,Rhonda,Brenda & family We are so stunned and deeply saddened that one of the best men on earth has left us. :( I am having a very difficult time with this since I never imagined life without the jokester Bobby James! I grew up playing euchre with him, Linda,the girls, Carmel & Ernie, Rosie and my parents Jimmy & Nancy. I was always so excited to go down to Carmel James house because I knew Bobby would be there to tease the heck outta me, tell huge,on-going stories and then show me the many huge, bucks he had mounted on the wall! He was also, always good for scaring the crap out of you at least once during those visits, by grabbing you as you walked by and hollering! I actually just visited with Bobby & Linda several times during hunting season and each time he left, Bobby gave me one of his huge hugs good-bye. I'm so devastated, knowing that it was my last hug from Mr. Bobby James. :( He was one of the funniest, kindest, caring, good-hearted men I have ever known and I will miss him sooo much. He was also smart because he loved Dodge trucks and he even gave me his Dodge hat off of his head one day! I hope all of his antics and stories live on and that we can always continue to smile and laugh when we hear his name. (Especially the man who prefers organic wood! :) The world would be a much better place if we all had the same outlook on life as Bobby did, that's for sure! We wish to express our sincere sympathies to Bob's family. We were raised on Daniel Street Arnprior, directly across from Bob's garage (now Michelsons). We have very fond memories of Bob - he would always holler a big hello across the road, and of course his exceptional singing abilities, which of course made us kids giggle in laughter. Bob was the only mechanic we knew that could sing so well, even from under the car, laying on a dolly cart. Long after we moved away, and many years after Bob sold the garage, Bob always had a smiling face, and a cheerful hello for us. He will be sadly missed! Sincerely, Jeff, Stephanie, and Tom Whyte

Bob was a great guy to work with. He liked to cause fun "trouble" or Sh*#. I always told him I don't get mad I get even. One day Bob was standing inside the garage at B & J Auto, he started opening the bay door all the while talking (not that he ever talked much :) I reached under the door and gave him a big old horse bite! Well I did not know he could jump that high! You will be missed fine man. Debbie
