SCHMIDT, Anne (Retired Customer Service - Mitel) Peacefully at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital while surrounded by the love of family and friends on Wednesday evening, December 5th, 2012. Anne Margaret Schmidt of Arnprior; formerly of Kinburn at the age of 68 years. Beloved daughter of Mrs. Julianna Schmidt of Abbotsford, B.C. and the late Calvin Schmidt. Dearly loved and devoted mother of James "Jamie" Tate of Ottawa; Traci Tate (Nick Hobbins) of Arnprior and adopted "Mom" of Scott Huntington (Wanda) of Carleton Place. Cherished and proud "Granny"of Torri-Anne Tate (James Dolan) of Carleton Place. Dear sister of Harvey Schmidt (Chris) of Creston, B.C.; Joan Bednarik (John) of Okotoks, Alberta and Corinne Inglis (Mark) of Langley, B.C. A lover of life, nature and all that was real, Anne will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and share memories of Anne during visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Sunday only from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. In memory of Anne, a donation to the Arnprior Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
