I have returned from a Christmas holiday at the cottage and was saddened to learn of Naomi's death . I met her at the National Gallery where I was a guide and often took my grandchildren to the Artissimo program on Saturday. She was very gifted in inspiring young children in creative projects , always remembered their names . As a result they always looked tforward to our fun outings to the NGC. We extend our deepest sympathy to all her family and will remember you all in our prayers.

Naomi was an inspiration. She was an amazing multi talented woman, who had a zest for life and learning. She had a gift with words, whether painting mental images of her adventures in far off places or describing her journey with cancer. She displayed rare courage and determination to live each day to the fullest, to fulfill her dreams and encourage others in spite of all the stormy seas she traveled in recent months. Her passing left a great void in many lives, for she had multitudes of friends.
She is now free of her physical impediments and learning much that she did not learn here. Great will be her joy and our when we see her again on the other side of the veil.

Naomi was such a sincere, warm-hearted, talented woman. I worked with her briefly at Robert E. Wilson School and was so impressed with her passion and her enthusiasm and her work ethic. She is a remarkable person. I send my deepest sympathies to her family. I am so sorry for your loss.

Georgeanne and Ray: I was saddened to learn of Naomi's death on Christmas Day. She was such an enthusiastic student teacher when she worked with me during her B.Ed., and the students really enjoyed her. I was so impressed at how she handled all of the challenges sent her way, and how she packed what time she had when she was ill with everything that life had to offer (including white water kayaking, writing songs for publication, meeting and marrying the love of her life!)
