Dear Gerry, Jerome and families: My heart is with you at this time of your loss. It is never easy to see that life is moving on and you are becoming the senior generation as we loose our parents. It is only as we get older that we value and appreciate the lives of our parents and everything they have done for us. Many the memories of the good times you've shared remain in your hearts forever. Sincerely Bonda Misener

Please accept my families deepest sympathy. I would like to also take this opportunity to thank your family for placing your mother, relative, friend and family member with us at Forest Hills in Kanata. It has been an honour and a reward to me being able to work on the third floor with her. Eileen was always a kind and loving woman. I once saw she received the Arnprior newspaper. We had many conversations regarding articles and people in the town of Arnprior. I will never forget when we discussed one of our teachers was a Mrs. Pulcine in Arnprior. She chuckled with me and asked " were you bad, should you be remembered"? Myself coming from Arnprior it was most rewarding hearing her views and ideas of articles and issues. During her hospital stays, Eileen was deeply missed and greatfully welcomed "home" upon returning to Forest Hills. You, her family members will always cherish the loving and memorable times throughout your lives as Eileen did while she was with us. May you cherish them close to you always. Always remember Eileen will always be close within all of our hearts. I am very sorry we did not make it to her funeral. I will look for her headstone while I am visiting my nieces and nephews grave at St. Francis Xxavior. Our prayers and thoughts are with you today and always. Sincerely, Garry, Debbie and Ryan Gierman

To Eileen's family, Mother and Janet(my daughter), and I send warm thoughts to your whole family. We admired your Mom for her spunk and courage. It was easy to get past the gruff exterior that she tried to put on to the very warm person she really was.She was extremely proud of her family. Earlier she used to tell us how she ruled with an iron fist. I know it was always tempered with a lot of love.We will miss her at Forest Hill.God be with you all. Sincerely, Gertrude, Ruth and Janet

Dear Gerry, Larry, Jerome, Tom and Sheila, I know this is a difficult time for you guys but your Mum is now enjoying her just reward. It is unfortunate that an earlier commitment, I was unable to defer, will not allow me to join with you and your families to share in the celebration of your Mum's life. Pat joins me in sending our sincere condolences. With love, Don Pulcine.

Gerry, Larry, Terry, Jerome, Tom & Sheila, Please know that we were saddened to hear of Eileen's death. Despite the fact that she had been ill for some time, she has managed to survive so much that I think we thought she was invincible. We wish we could be there with you as you celebrate her life for the next few days - we, too, could share many stories. She was tenacious, determined, independent and we enjoyed her company, her humour and her stories. She loved you and her Lorne above all else, and she was proud of all you had accomplished and continue to accomplish. In true Newfouland style she extended hospitality to all who came to her door - you were ill put to get away from her table without finishing all the plates she was determined to put in front of you. I know you will feel the loss her absence will leave in your lives for some time to come - the world has just lost a wonderful, colourful, classy lady and she will be missed.
