Obituary of James Hammond

HAMMOND, James Jr. (Retired Plumber) Peacefully in hospital at Arnprior on Tuesday evening, January 15th, 2008 surrounded by his loving family. James "Jimi" Hammond Jr. of Arnprior at the age of 61 years. Dearly loved son of the late James Hammond and Mildred "Billie" (Nee Robillard) of Arnprior. Beloved husband and best friend of Connie (Nee Prince). Cherished father of Shane (Paula) of Pakenham, Chris (Kim) of Braeside, Lisa Doyle of Midland, Billy-Joe Gunn of Ottawa and Derek Gunn of Arnprior. Dear brother of George (Nancy) of Arnprior, Ron (Chris) of Pakenham, Steven (Shawn) of Arnprior, Catherine Hammond of Castleford and Laura Coady (Philip) of Braeside. Treasured "Poppa" of Trinity and Ava. Jimi will be missed by his nieces and nephews as well as many special friends. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Saturday, January 19th at 11 o'clock. Cremation will follow. In remembrance of Jimi, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Arnprior Hospital "Partners in Caring" foundation would be appreciated by the family.
