Well said Brent and Julie. I know Mum's abiding wish was to re-united with Dad as soon as possible. And I believe she is with him where the sun is always shining and glinting on Pine lake, the fish are always biting but the mosquitos aren't, and they are always where they loved to be the most: together. I am proud that as a family we have followed both Mum's and Dad's wishes with grace and strength. We will always miss and remember them but every time I see or speak to one of my brothers I am with the legacy they left me.Much love to all my family.

To all who have known mum and dad over the years we are sorry to pass on that mum has gone to be with dad. Mum was dealing and struggling for quite a while with her breathing problems and with Alzheimers. She is now at rest and I am sure by now has taken up with dad back at Pine Lake, sitting in the boat fishing their hearts out. I bet the first thing mum did when she went to Pine Lake was to check on her oak tree. That tree must be huge by now and she must have a smile a mile wide. We want to pass on the message that it was mum and dad's explicit wishes to not have any viewings or services. Mum and dad were very adamament about this and always expressed over and over again that their wishes were to be immediately cremated and then internment. In a way this is comforting to know that there was no wasting time for mum with viewings and services and that she went to dad right away. We have to say that with mum's passing there will always be a big hole in our hearts. We will miss her stories and her sharing heart. One of our co-workers told me the other day that he will always miss her for her butter tarts. Any one that ever had the pleasure of having her butter tarts will say "amen to that!" Love you mum, miss you. PS. Can you tell dad for us not to get too mad at you when you catch more fish and bigger fish than him.
