Mrs. Russell was one of my favourite teachers in high school at VAHS in Shawville. Although I had not seen her for many years I thought of her often. My sincere condolences to her family on her passing, which I just read about tonight in the Renfrew news. She was a very special teacher and person in my and many other lives.

I offer my sincere sympathy on the death of Elsie. She was a classy lady and I had the privelege of teaching with her for a number of years in the 70's and 80's. You will have many wonderful memories of a life well lived. Know that my thoughts are with all of her family at this time of loss and seperation.
