Obituary of Ellen Louks

LOUKS, Ellen (Retired Civil Servant) Peacefully at The Grove Nursing Home, Arnprior on Thursday morning, January 24th, 2008. Ellen Margaret Louks; formerly of Ottawa at the age of 82 years. Beloved daughter of the late Caleb Louks and the late Ester Jane Webb. Ellen was predeceased by her 4 brothers: Austin, Floyd, Roy and Lester Louks as well as sisters: Myra Skelly and Agnes Johnstone. Special aunt of Lorraine Innis (Hugh) of Toronto, Michael W. Louks (Eileen Carr) of Arnprior, David F. Louks of Orleans, Fred Louks (Ruth) of Milton, Bob Louks (Betty) of Smiths Falls and Tom Louks (Jane) of Richmond. Loved great-aunt of Jennifer, Caroline (Ronan Palmer) and Sarah Innis. Ellen was also predeceased by niece, Louise Johnstone. Ellen was a dedicated volunteer for many years at the Riverside Hospital in Ottawa. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Friday, February 1st from 9 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. Liturgy of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Pilon Family Chapel at 11 o'clock. In memory of Ellen, a donation made to The Grove Nursing Home, Arnprior would be appreciated by her family.
