Connie & Kevin, We will always remember BJ coming up in the mornings before school and having breakfast with the boys. Remember the log cabin he had to make for school? He put so many nails in it that Stephen thought he wouldn't be able to carry it! BJ might be gone, but he will never be forgotten. He was loved by all who knew him...he is in heaven with his mother now. Some day you will have your answers, but you will always have him in your hearts. We are here for you whenever you need us. My deepest sympathies for BJ's family, Maureen, Connie & Kevin, and all friends. I could never imagine the pain family goes through at such a hard time, all my love and prayers go out to you. Being a childhood friend and neighbour for years and hearing of such awful news breaks my heart.
Growing up with Brandon was always interesting, he was always tinkering in the garage, disassembling four-wheelers, dirt bikes, power tools, only to put them back together as they were "broken" he was master of all and had to fix them on his own at a really young age. Not sure anything was ever broken, but up early and busy all day working away. I have great memories of playing in Brookie's playhouse with him, the 3 of us would play after school for hours, playing house, pretending to make food from anything we could find outside, many days usually ending in us running and Brandon chasing us. Playing on his play structure and wanting me to stay forever and wanting me to live there, he never wanted the day to end, so many plans and adventures. Fun days of painting his play place with tar, sun block or anything he could find in the garage. He definitely kept Maureen on her toes, he was such an active kid, always had to keep busy. I remember on my birthdays he would always come over and join the Sandbay kids, he was more than happy to be stuck with the girls, dressing up or playing any game we wanted. He had a great heart and imagination.
Its great hearing how great of a young man he had grown up to be, I regret not keeping in touch as much as when we were young...but I guess it happens with growing up. It has been more then a pleasure knowing him for all the past years and will never forget him.
Praying for the days ahead, as it is never easy...

Dear Brandon,
I am sorry to have lost touch with you after all these years but I used to babysit you when Kim, Linda and Lindsay were around. You were such a good kid to look after. I actually believe we were more friends than anything as I always stayed the night there. There isn't a huge age difference between us. I have no idea what you were going through but trust me to God I can acutally relate! Life can be tough! I have never written to anyone who has past away but your death has affected me. Brandon will be greatly missed. He always had a smile on his face and was a pleasure to work with. He represented Badger with the utmost integrity, professionalism and had a magnetic charm to his personality. As time passed he became more and more comfortable taking the role of shop "jokester". We will miss the daily ribbing and playful nature of Badger's self-proclaimed Head Swamper. I only knew Brandon for a very short time through his work at Badger. I loved when I saw him in the morning because I knew through his dedication to his job and his fun filled demeanor that my day was going to be better. I think Brandon's goal was to try and have fun and to ensure those around him did as well. I am in shock with his passing and extend my condolences to his family. I miss buying him coffee in the morning and his good-natured ribbing about my lack of commitment to keeping him busy because my crew was just too slow to keep up to him. Rest in peace, heaven just got better.
