Suddenly at the Arnprior and District Memorial Hospital on Wednesday evening, March 13, 2013. Muriel Lilian Harvey of Braeside at the age of 68 years. Dear daughter of the late Rosaire Royer and the late Marie-Reine Moore. Beloved wife for almost 50 years (March 23rd) of Ken Harvey. Dearly loved mother of Debbie Collins (Howard) of Kanata and George Harvey (Lisa) of Whitehorse, Yukon. Cherished and proud "Grandma" of Ryan, Megan, Caitlin, Hailey, Taylor and Aidan. Dear sister of Pierre Royer (Marjorie) of Bancroft. Loved daughter-in-law of Phyllis Harvey (late George) of Beachburg and special sister-in-law of Rev Catherine Bromell (Bill) of Beachburg. Predeceased by 2 brothers: Roger and Marcel Royer as well as 2 sisters: Louise Kitty (late Eugene) and Colette Bedard (late Maurice). Muriel's selfless, warm nature, her love of life, her passion for golf, playing cards and annual trips down South will be long remembered by those who knew her. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. and again Thursday morning, March 21st from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. A Service to honour Muriel's life will be conducted in the Pilon Family Chapel at 11 o'clock. A reception will follow. In lieu of flowers, donations in Muriel's name may be made to the Lift/Accessibility Fun at St. Andrew's United Church, Beachburg or the Renfrew County Lung Association. The service will be webcast for those unable to attend.
