I'm so very sorry to hear about Mr.McGregor's passing. I remember him vividly and fondly, as a fun loving man and a committed coach and educator. I always enjoyed visiting with Angela and her family and her father, Jim, would always make the day the best ever. All my thoughts and smiles to the McGregor family and for a wonderful celebration.

Dear: Beth, Angela, Rachel,& Families: My most sincere thoughts, & Prayers are with you all,at the sad loss of a Great man> Dear Husband, Dad, Papa, Brother, & Friend! I have very fond memories of having Jim for a Teacher. He made learning Fun. I loved going to his Class. He was so Fair, Kind, Wise, Humourous, & Caring in everyway!! He left a lasting impression on my Life! My Brother, Bordie loved him like a Brother, & enjoyed every minute they had together>from Golfing everyday, fishing,or just Chatting. Jim was an all around wonderful man who was so kind to so many. He was
so good to his girls. I especially remember the days when all of our girls played ball on the Rath Farm Equipment Fast ball teams for 9 years.
Jim was always there to lend a hand coaching. He was a great mentor. Norbert and I always appreciated his help and so did the team. He was so kind to girls and so patient and so much fun to work with. My deepest sympathy to all of the family, especially Rachel and Angela, members of our team. Big Hugs. You are in my prayers. My condolences to the McGregor family. I only knew Jim through the market in Renfrew and the farm but he impressed me with his warmth. Even though he only saw me on rare occasions he always made me feel that he remembered me. I will keep your family in my prayers.

He was one of those rare teachers who could connect with his students on a personal level, and still maintained the respect of a student/teacher relationship. He had an ability to push you, without you even realizing you were being pushed... He was a great teacher and a great person. The world was a much better place with Jim in it... Dear Beth, Rachel and Family, and Angie and Family, we were sorry to hear of Jim's passing. He fought a long and hard battle against a miserable disease. He will be missed by everyone who knew him.
