Obituary of Edith Campbell

CAMPBELL, Edith (Nee Brydges) Peacefully at the Arnprior Hospital on Saturday morning, October 8th, 2011. Myrtle Edith Campbell of Fitzroy Harbour. Edith was born in Almonte on October 12th, 1939. Beloved wife and best friend of John Campbell. Much loved mother of Darlene Weir (Ron); Don (Gail); Ken and Glen (Suzie). Proud grandmother of Alex, Bethany and Ivan Weir; Johnathon and Mike Campbell; Cassie and Mitchell Campbell; Jake and Jennifer Campbell. Survived by brothers and sisters: Kenneth (Dorene); Keith (late Mary); Mary Howie (late Armer); Gordon (Lydia Dolan) and Grace Howie (late Sterling). Predeceased by Katherine Gardiner (Francis); Isabel James (Carmen); Robert Brydges; Cecil Brydges (Shirley); Marion Armstrong (late Graham) and her twin, Ivan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior for visitation on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. only. A Funeral Service will be conducted in St. George's Anglican Church, Fitzroy Harbour on Friday morning, October 14th at 11 o'clock. Rev. Kathryn Otley officiating. Interment St. George's Anglican Cemetery, Fitzroy Harbour. In memory of Edith, a donation to St. George's Memorial Fund would be appreciated by her family.
