Our sincerest sympathy on the loss of your beloved mother. She was a wonderful gracious lady and and treated us with such warmth and grace during our short time in Fitzroy. We feel privileged to have known her and you, her family. We, too, will miss her. We planned to attend her funeral today, but the weather made us take a second decision. Our prayers and thoughts are with you all.

We would go to the Funeral, but Garfield has surgery on the 7th at 8:15 a.m. Theresa is in a much better place now. What a beautiful time to be called home. She will be celebrating with the Lord this Christmas for sure. Take care, Love, Joan and Garfield Latreille

Your mother was a very significant person and presence in my life. I will never forget her. She left a lasting impact on me and my ministry. As you know, she was my housekeeper during my short term as Pastor at Fitzroy Harbour, 1971-74. But she was much more. She was a sister to me, a friend. It does not embarrass me to say that she was also a mother to me. She had the gift of hospitality and I will never forget the way she and your father Tommy made me feel welcome in your home. I say "your" because her home was yours even after you had left to marry. Her door was always open to all. Will any of us ever forget the Sunday dinners, the gatherings, the suppers, the laughter and the warmth of her all inclusive love. I certainly will not. She was one of the very few most significant persons in my life. I will miss her, but never forget. I could never forget her. I have only happy memories of your mother. Precious memories. I think the Scripture passage that best describes your mother is that found in Proverbs Chapter 31:10-31. We are leaving today for Peterborough to attend the funeral of a member of Anne Marie's family on Monday. We will be returning late Monday and will do our best to attend the funeral, weather permitting. Love and prayers, Fred and Anne Marie
