Kenny's mother and my grandfather were related through the Kennedy's my grandfather was a Kennedy my grandmothers name was Bessie and my grandfather was Albert so whenever we were to meet which was often he would say there is my 5th cousin removed Bessie and I would say there's Albert sometimes the names were the other way around whether we were related or not Ken was a great person, a person who didn't care who you were or where you came from he just had so much time for everyone whether you were rich poor or just struggling he made time for you along with a great big smile. We will all miss this as Ken was a special one of a kind person. To all his family our deepest sympathies and Peter says tell Pat how very sorry he is in the loss of your dad. We are sure he is in heaven right now with his wife and son and sitting on the right hand side of God. We all loved you Ken.

I was saddened to hear that Sciss"s father passed away as well had Sciss i met Ken several times he was a special man with a very big heart.he cared very much for the less fortunate.Sciss was very much like his father they both will sadly be missed.

Ken was a wonderful gentleman i worked for him as a teenager when he owned tower lunch also had many meals with him shared a few laughs, and u never left kens rest hungry he helped out so many people in the town of Arnprior he will be sadly missed by everyone who knew him, Ken we know u have gone home to heaven and probaly cooking for the angels which u loved best. Rest in peace.

Our Uncle Ken was the last of a long line of generous and kind members of the Scissons family. He always had a good story and a beautiful smile to greet every one. He did so much good and cared for so many during his lifetime and we will miss him very much.

Ken was a true Irishman! He loved to laugh, might have a "drop" from time to time and loved to tell a story! I always felt welcome and a part of the family around Ken and his clan. Yes he was a true humanitarian and many people have him to thank for providing the basics of life when noone else would. I'm sure Bernice and Robert and the rest of Ken's loved ones in heaven are welcoming him home with open arms and a very, very big party!

Oh, Ken! How often I have said you deserved to hear your eulogy while you were still here. If ever an angel walked the streets of our town it was you. You gave of yourself over and over. So many saw you and those sparkling blue eyes and never knew the heartaches you've known. Nor would they know the hearts you have won just by being there.
