Obituary of Phyllis Maheral

MAHERAL, Phyllis Marie (nee McHugh) Peacefully at home in Kanata while surrounded by her family on Monday morning, June 24th, 2013. Dearly beloved wife of Robert. Loved mother of Jesse Laporte(Crystal) and Jonathan Laporte(Julia Inglis). Cherished "Granni" of Alexis, Jade, Bentley and soon to be Cameron. Daughter of Lois Desjardine(Leonard) and daughter-in-law of Clarence Maheral (late Rita) Predeceased by her father, John McHugh. Survived by her brother, Brian McHugh(Terry) and sisters, Debbie Mulligan(Jim), Bonnie Stockwell (Doug), Sandra Aldebert(Russ) and Sharon McHugh(Dave Dotte). Sister-in-law of Karen Maheral and Nancy Payette(Mike). Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family. The family wishes to thank the many nurses, doctors and caregivers who helped Phyllis along her journey. Extra special thanks to her nurse, Derek Jackson who went above and beyond to make sure Phyllis was looked after and comfortable. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects at the Pilon Family Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Wednesday, June 26th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. only. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Holy Redeemer Church, 44 Rothesay Drive, Kanata on Thursday morning, June 27th at 11 o'clock. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery, Arnprior. In memory of Phyllis, a donation to the Arnprior and District Breast Cancer Support Group would be greatly appreciated by her family.
