Dear Heather and Family: You have our very deepest sympathies at this very difficult time. Unfortunately, we were unable to attend Dennis' wake and tell you in person, but we wanted to express our sympathies. We only had the pleasure of getting to know Dennis through the taxi business, but he was always friendly and smiling and very patient with the children. His sense of humour and his good nature simply shone through. He will be missed by one and all. Thinking of you at this time.

When I and my brother moved to Arnprior we first attended Walter Zadow Public School (grade 8). We were the new kids in town and were bullied and made fun of. Denny became our very first friend and remained so over the years. Denny is pictured here with Harley Golder in downtown Arnprior November 1966 both age 15. Those were the days!

I was very saddened to learn of Den's death. The memories of Denny, my brother Harley and the rest of the gang came back in full colour. Our first friend after moving to Arnprior. He was a great guy! Dear Heather, Dennis took my Mom on her last taxi ride home, last summer. She thought he was the nicest young man, he drove her right to her house, walked her in, and even opened the door for her, a real gentleman she said.
