For me, Mrs. Kavanagh had the same dry wit and beautiful charm her red-headed son Francis had in over abundance was quick to share in every Agricultural Journalism class I had with him and his wife Joanne at Kemptville and Belleville Colleges back in the late 1980s. I was honoured to meet Mrs. Kavanagh and always felt genuinely “at home” in her home when we visited her house in Armprior during my college years with Francis. God Bless you Mrs. Kavanagh. And thank you for always making me feel comfortable in your home.

We cant believe it was only 3 weeks ago we were in the "yarn barn" in Ireland telling stories and reminiscing. We are so glad we made the trip especially Dad to see his sister, for what was sadly the last time. Seeing the three Quigley seniors together was a pleasure which we know they all cherished at the time and we can hold onto in Frances's memory.
