I had to go to Kingston last year for a medical reason. I asked Terri if she wanted to come along for the drive. When I went to pick her up, she felt like going in her car and therefore Joe was coming too. I didn't mind at all - the more the merrier! As it turned out, Terri did not let me pay for the gas or the great meal we had before my appointment. Terri truly would give you the shirt off her back if the need arose. I'll never forget you Terri - now just put in a good word for us with these lottery tickets we get and pick us a winner : )

Terri was many things to all who knew her. She was thoughtful, kind, fun to be around, spiritual and generous with her time and particularly her home-made gifts for every new arrival, ether son or daughter or grandchild. Her laugh was contagious, and even if she was tired she would always try to help you out. A lot of us made it to many meaningful and important events in our lives because Terri would cover our shifts for us. You could always count on her..... There are some people that because you have known them you are a better person and Terri is that person. She will be sadly missed by all but never forgotten by any. When we sit back and remember the good times we have shared at ADMH, Terri's name will most definitely come up. There is one more angel in Heaven to watch over us. THANK YOU TERRI

So sorry to read about Therese passing. Therese and I graduated together at Peel Memorial in Brampton and we came to Ottawa the same time in the summer of 1969. So sorry we lost touch after she moved to Arnprior but often thought of her. My thoughts are with the whole family and I will always remember our early nursing days. I too am from the Chatham area. I am deeply sorry that you have lost your wife, mother and sister, Marie-Therese. Please accept my words of condolence as comfort for each of you. Our dear Heavenly Father in His Word tells us that he is the God of comfort, meaning that you should rely on him during this difficult and sad time. Surely he will sustain you. He also provides the only hope that we can rely on because even he yearns for the time when all in the grave will come out. (Job 14:14,15). Only he can raise our dead loved one and surely it is for us to enjoy life as it was really intended. So please when you are able, read Jesus account at John chapter Eleven which shows not only the condition of our dead loved ones but also what will be done in the resurrection and how we will rejoice to see them again.
