NUGENT, Rita Suddenly but peacefully at Arnprior on Ash Wednesday, February 6th, 2008. Mary Rita Nugent of The Arnprior Villa at the age of 87 years. Dear daughter of the late James Lunney and the late Mary Ryan. Beloved wife of the late John Nugent (June 1st, 2006). Cherished mother of Mary Catherine Riopelle (Monty) of Perth, Michael of Arnprior, Patti McLean (Peter) also of Arnprior and Jim (Salma) of Jakarta, Indonesia. Treasured "Nana" of Mark Riopelle (Ann), Jocelyne Riopelle, Jessica Nugent, Ian and Margaret McLean and Ooways Nugent. Dearly loved sister of Clare McInnes (late Jack) of London , Hugh (Mary) of Arnprior, Rev. William "Bill" Lunney of Ottawa, Alphonse (Marlyn) of Pakenham, , Msgr. Leonard Lunney of Ottawa, Bernadette Lunney (Bob Hilyer) of Ottawa and Lawrence (Francine) of Almonte. Predeceased by 2 brothers; Edmund (Bev of Renfrew) and James (Doris of Arnprior). Special friend and sister-in-law of Margaret Teevens (late Gervais) of The Arnprior Villa. Rita will be fondly remembered by her sister-in-law, Mary Alice Nugent (late Wilfred) of Ottawa; the Lunney and Nugent families as well as countless friends, nieces and nephews. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 12:30 p.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Monday afternoon, February 11th at 2:30. Spring interment St. Peter Celestine Parish Cemetery (Indian Hill), Pakenham. In memory of Rita, donations to The Grove Nursing Home or the Arnprior Hospital "Partners in Caring" Foundation would be appreciated by the family. Members of the CWL Arnprior and the Knights of Columbus, Council 2082, Arnprior will assemble at the funeral home for prayers on Sunday afternoon at 3:30.
