Obituary of Helen Berry
With great sadness, we announce the passing of Helen Elizabeth Berry (nee Hurst) on Sunday evening, September 22nd after a short illness at the Arnprior Hospital. Helen was 85 years of age. Beloved wife of the late John Manley Brown Berry. Helen is survived by her loving daughter, Barbara Lynn Cosman (Tony Dew) and her adoring grandson, David John Cosman who will always remain her pride and joy. Predeceased by her parents George Hurst and Sarah Ann Hurst (nee Kilpatrick). Predeceased by sisters: Margaret (Peggy) Snow, and Betsy Hurst and her brother George Hurst. She will be remembered by her nieces & nephews Sandra Robinson (Brian), Peter Snow, Donald Snow, Karen Fisher (Bob), Vicki Snow (Pat), Susan Ransom (Russ), Beverly Hurst (Jim), James Hurst and Didi Hobson (Dave). She will be remembered by her brother-in-law Eric Snow. Fondly remembered by her friends in Montreal, Ottawa, Calabogie and Arnprior.
Many special thanks to Dr. Susan Kurian and Vicki Murdoch and the entire nursing staff at the Arnprior Hospital for the tender loving care and attention given to Helen during her stay in hospital. Friends are invited to share their memories of Helen with her family during an informal drop-in to be held at the home of Barb, David and Tony, 158 Charles Street, Arnprior on Saturday, September 28th from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. In memory of Helen, a donation to Special Olympics Ontario - Arnprior would be appreciated.
