Obituary of Agnes Lamorie

LAMORIE, Agnes (Serving Sister of St. John's) Peacefully in hospital at Arnprior on Sunday afternoon, February 10th, 2008. Agnes Murray Lamorie (Nee Burnett) of Arnprior (Sandy Hook) at the age of 81 years. Beloved wife and best friend of Francis "Fritz" Lamorie. Dearly loved mother of Joe Lamorie (and his wife Noreen) of Braeside, David Lamorie and Shona Burnette (Emerson Kopetoske), both of Arnprior. Cherished and proud "Nanny" of Kerey Barr (Alan), Jason Lamorie, Robyn Lamorie, Gen Lamorie-Wallace (Steve), Stephen Lamorie (and his wife Charlie MacDowall) and Katie Langley (David) . Agnes was predeceased by her 7 brothers and 5 sisters; all formerly of Scotland. Friends may join us for visitation at the Pilon Family Funeral Home & Chapel, 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 12:30 p.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Wednesday afternoon, February 13th at 2 o'clock. Interment will follow at the Malloch Road Cemetery in Arnprior. In memory of Agnes, a donation made to the Arnprior & District Memorial Hospital "Partners in Caring" Foundation would be appreciated by her family.
