One of my favourite memories of Alison is seeing her and Don as Mr. and Mrs. Santa at the Seniors At Home Christmas Parties. They made the most awesome couple bringing joy and laughter to all the seniors and friends at the parties. We think of you often here at Seniors at Home. My heartfelt condolences to Don and family at the loss of a wonderful wife and mother. I remember Alison's lifelong friendship with my sister Sharon Bassett (nee Thornton). I found out only a week ago that she had passed away last year. I remember her well from her days growing up in Carleton Place and the times she would visit with Sharon at our home there. My condolences to Mrs. Cornforths family and friends. Mrs Cornforth was such a kind woman and the best teacher. Even though my time with her is the classroom was over 20 years ago, she stuck out in my head as one of my favourite teachers :) Was sad to hear of her passing.
