Obituary of Daniel William Smith

SMITH, Dan (Retired - Smiths Construction, Arnprior) (Retired - Arnprior Fire Department) Suddenly at home on Thursday morning, December 30th, 2004. Daniel William Smith of Arnprior (Pine Grove) at the age of 66 years. Dear son of Bill Smith of Arnprior and of the late Margaret Helferty. Beloved husband and best friend of Frances (Nee Herrick). Dearly loved father of Shawn Smith (Sonja) and Sherri Smith, both of Arnprior. Loved brother of Shirley Hogan (late Milton), Allan Smith (Jean) of Rhoddy�s Bay and Tom Smith (Louise) of Sand Point. Predeceased by a brother John Smith. Cherished grandfather of Joshua, Samantha, Brandon and Michelle. Loved brother-in-law of Jean Smith, Priscilla Dillon (late Wilfred), Theresa Wilson (Orville), Shirley Valiquette (Bill), Gail Herrick (late Eldon), Mercedes Lapinski (Max), Marilyn Schooley (late Phil), Bert Herrick (Pat), Elaine Gibson (Gordie) and Darlene Daniels (Paul). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends may join us for visitation at the PILON FAMILY FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 50 John Street North, Arnprior on Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and after 8:30 a.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. John Chrysostom Church, Arnprior on Monday morning, January 3rd, 2005 at 10 o�clock. Interment Malloch Road Cemetery. In memory of Dan, donations to the St. John Chrysostom Church Memorial Fund would be appreciated by his family.
